Emir's son in Canada

The son of an Arab emir came to Canada to study.
After a month he sends home a letter with these words:
"Montreal is beautiful and the people are friendly. I like it here but I'm embarrassed to arrive at school with my gold Mercedes while my teachers come out of the subway."

After a few days the he receives a few words and a check for 10 million dollars:
"Let not shame us longer, also buy you a subway."
